I am but a gigantic ball of nerves. I don't know why. Everything is going according to plan. All things are scheduled, right through dinner tomorrow evening, and Saturday morning's activities. I have the majority of packing done, except for the few odds and ends that will have to go in to the bags after I am all ready in the morning.
Not much thought about anything today except for all the things I am probably forgetting. Life does go on. If I forget something, I am sure I can find a substitute or replacement in Seattle. If not, I didn't need it that bad anyway.
I have realized, through watching a video today, that the stuff does indeed hold us back. I think that, too, will be a part of the next 12-week-year cycle. First, I realized it whilst I got myself down in the weeds of cleaning out my email accounts. Thousands upon thousands of unopened email that was either junk, or subscriptions I never really wanted to begin with.
Oh, and the Saga of Zee Mouse continues. We have discovered where it, or they are coming in from - but it will take a minor removal/renovation to get that sealed. Until then, we have Bean, we have the Mouse Hotel, and I, at least, won't be here to see it for a few days.
Yet another reason to clear out more clutter. The emptier it is, the less reason they have to stick around. And before you say it, no, we are not using kill traps. We've done that in the past. Not doing it any more. Their presence is to be expected. We live in the country, surrounded by fields. They're called FIELD MICE for a reason. We just have to train it/them to go back to the fields.
Next time we talk, I'll be all the way across the country, looking at a giganormous volcano, a bay, a sound, and many many many people, or if I decide not to take my laptop with me, you'll hear from me again next week.
