How I feel sleeping in Seattle
(MoPop - Seattle)
By the time I depart tomorrow, I will have adjusted to PST, just in time to readjust to EST. In case it wasn't clear before, I am not on Keto. I had no plans either way before I got to the airport, but once there, I decided to let the carb chips fall where they may and just have a good time.
So far, I have come to realize some crucial things:
- I am not the tourist type
- I will not stay in downtown Seattle again, unless my husband is with me and we have our own car
- Always bring an umbrella when you travel to Seattle. Always.
- I don't know what I thought it would be like, but it's not at all like the visions I had in the past
- I can probably guarantee that I will never successfully sleep when traveling.
- No matter where you are situated in the country, Bravo TV shows are garbage
It's always and forever amazing to get to spend time with my son. For that reason alone, this trip is a success.
Meanwhile, once I get back home, I will be right back on track. You just have to live in the moment enough to know when to enjoy things and when to stay strict.
Balance. That's what it's about.
